Summer Goat Camp for Kids
Kids Camp at the Goat Conspiracy Sanctuary
Kids Camp at the Goat Conspiracy Sanctuary
Registration is Open!
General Info
Dates: June 9th - June 13th (Kindergarten-2nd Grade), July 14th - July 18th (3rd-5th Grade)
Get down to earth and appreciate the beauty of Brown County nature, the daily bustle of an animal sanctuary, and, of course, goats! Goat Camp: Down to Earth gives campers the opportunity to get on the inside of what it’s like to run an animal sanctuary. Campers will have the opportunity to help with animal care, and learn from members of the sanctuary community to get in the loop on all our animal residents, and, of course, interact heavily with goats!
Additionally, because of its location, Goat Conspiracy prides itself on being a steward of Brown County’s natural environment — a value that campers will see first hand with a variety of nature walks, games, and activities.
Campers will also be treated to an organic, fresh made plant based snack and lunch each day, included in the cost of camp!
Pricing
Both the June (Kinder-2nd Grade) and July (3rd-5th Grade) camps are $375 per camper per week. This price allows us to provide all campers with a freshly made snack and lunch every day!
If the cost of camp is prohibitive for you, we encourage you to apply for one of our scholarship camper spots, in which The Goat Conspiracy waives the full price of a camper’s attendance fee.
Health & Safety
Being a sanctuary, we take the health and safety of our residents and visitors very seriously. If you would like to read more about this, please download our Health & Safety Policies.
FAQs
-
Drop off for campers will be from 8:30-9:00 am
Pickup will be from 4:00-4:30 pm
-
Because most of camp will be held outdoors in nature, it is highly encouraged that your camper be equipped with the following:
-Large water bottle
-Insect repellent
-Sunscreen
-Appropriate footwear for walking outside
-A backpack where they can keep their things
-
In order to avoid conflict or potential injury, we please ask that you DO NOT allow your camper to bring things such as:
-Multitools or pocket knives
-Fidgets
-Toys or games (as these could be misplaced or lost)
-
Much of the day will be spent in nature, and thus outside! Because of this, we recommend that campers wear clothes that reflect this such as:
-Boots or shoes they do not mind getting dirty and wearing while being active throughout the day
-Cool, breathable clothes
-A hat
-A change of clothes is not required by any means, but is not discouraged

If your camper will require any accommodations or special considerations (either health related or emotionally), please email us so that we can best work with you before camp begins
-
Keep in mind that The Goat Conspiracy is a working animal sanctuary. Because of this, combined with the high demand for camp, we unfortunately cannot provide a refund or return on cancelled camp sessions.
-
As a result of the mission of the sanctuary and safety concerns for campers, we cannot allow campers to bring outside food to The Goat Conspiracy (this is why we provide lunch and snacks). If you have any concerns on this, please feel free to contact us!
-
Please keep in mind that the Goat Conspiracy is still a functioning animal sanctuary, and as a result our animals live their lives as unimpeded as is possible. As a result of this, campers may witness certain actual behaviors in our resident goats and chickens (for example reproductive behavior and play fighting) that they might not witness otherwise. Please consider this when sending you camper to the sanctuary, and we will answer any questions in an age appropriate and educational manner!
